FAQs

Question:

What should I do if symptoms flare up partway through a course?
Answer:

Continue the course. In serious or long-standing illness the body cycles through depletion, build-up and fighting, and symptoms can briefly look worse than before treatment started – that is the body engaging with the reserve it now has, not the treatment failing. Each successive flare is weaker than the one before it, and the gaps between them lengthen until recovery holds. The same holds when pain returns a few hours after an early session in a chronic case: coMra delivered a genuine metabolic lift that is not yet sufficient for the damage, which is a different thing from an analgesic wearing off.

Question:

What do 5 Hz, 50 Hz, 1000 Hz and Variable mean on a coMra protocol?
Answer:

They set how deep the treatment reaches. 5 Hz works at 5–10 cm, for internal organs, blood and skeletal structure; 50 Hz at 1–2 cm, for muscle disorders, injuries and anything close to the skin; 1000 Hz at the surface, for skin conditions, burns, open wounds, the mouth, nose and ears, and the central nervous system; Variable cycles through all three, for joints and fractures where several depths are involved at once. Two rules never vary: the heart area is treated at 5 Hz and at no other frequency, and 5 Hz is never used on the brain.

Question:

Is more or longer coMra treatment better?
Answer:

No. Each of the four radiances runs at low intensity within a broad safe window, and their synergy – not their strength – produces the effect, so there is no gain from driving the device harder and no overdose risk. The protocols already sit in the stimulatory part of the dose response; going beyond adds nothing. What decides the result is applying the right frequency at the right points on the schedule the protocol sets – including its rest periods, which lose effect if stretched past the stated interval.

Question:

When should I expect to notice results from coMra?
Answer:

In a set order rather than at a single moment. Relief of pain and a sense of wellbeing come first, often within the first session, because cellular energy metabolism normalises within minutes. Sleep, digestion and mood restore over days as tissue-specific function resumes; neuro-immuno-endocrine regulation shifts over weeks; regeneration of tissue structure follows over weeks to months. Improvement at one layer while the next has not yet appeared is the normal sequence, not stagnation – and it is how you read where you are in the process.

Question:

Can I adapt a coMra protocol, or must I follow it exactly?
Answer:

The points you treat and the rhythm of the course are what you adapt; the frequency each point calls for and the safety rules are not. There is no intensity to titrate – the device works inside a fixed synergetic range, so the variables in your hands are treatment site and treatment duration. The User Guide's protocols are a starting point, and you can extend them as your own experience grows. What stays fixed: frequency follows tissue depth, and the heart area is always treated at 5 Hz.

Question:

Can I treat two conditions at the same time?
Answer:

Yes. Protocols are designed to be combined – to cover a local problem and a systemic one together, to address several co-occurring conditions in one person, or to treat an acute flare-up sitting on top of a chronic condition. The usual pairing is a systemic protocol (Universal 3, 5 or 7) plus the condition-specific one. Two rules apply when protocols are stacked: if more than one of them calls for the heart point, treat it only once in the session, and leave at least a couple of hours between separate sessions on the same day.

Question:

Why do coMra protocols include a two-week rest period?
Answer:

Because the effect of the irradiation continues through the rest – the body keeps working with the reserve the course built, and healing responses sometimes intensify once the stimulation stops. Rest periods are taken once definite improvement has been achieved; until then, continue the course without them. The rest should also not run longer than the protocol specifies, since an over-long gap loses the accumulated effect rather than adding to it.

Question:

Why does a full course matter more than a single session?
Answer:

Because each session raises the cell's functional reserve a little, and sessions that follow before the reserve falls back accumulate on top of each other. A single session can produce real effects – pain easing, a feeling of lightness, better sleep that night – but structural repair only consolidates when the reserve is held above the load that is damaging the tissue for long enough. Sessions spaced too far apart in a depleted body lose ground in between. Consistency across a course is what changes the outcome, not the length of any one session.

Question:

How long does a coMra treatment course last?
Answer:

Two to three weeks for most protocols. The Universal routines are applied twice daily until definite improvement is noticed and then for seven more days; the multi-day routines run fixed cycles of six, ten or twelve days. Acute injuries are treated until improvement is evident, which can be a matter of days. Chronic and structural conditions need repeated courses over months, and where there is long-standing damage, over years – regeneration proceeds in stages and cannot be compressed.

Question:

What if my condition is not listed in the coMra User Guide?
Answer:

Begin with Universal Treatments 3 and 5 – the systemic pair is the standard starting point when no named protocol applies. The conditions listed in the Guide are examples of coMra's versatility, not a closed list: the biophysical effects of the four radiances are not disease-dependent, so the same restored functional reserve is available to the tissue whatever the diagnosis is called. Where the concern is local, treat the area of primary concern at the frequency that matches its depth. As you gain experience, you can extend the protocols and build on them.

Question:

How do I find the coMra protocol for my condition?
Answer:

Search the coMra User Guide by condition name, or browse the medical section the condition belongs to – Cardiology for heart conditions, Traumatology for joints and injuries, Dermatology for skin, Gastroenterology for digestion, and so on. The Guide is available as a searchable web application, as iOS and Android apps, and as a printable PDF, in English, Spanish and German. Version 5.1 holds over 100 treatments covering more than 200 conditions, and every protocol comes with a diagram showing exactly where each treatment point sits on the body.

Question:

What is the Complete Organ Treatment (Universal 8)?
Answer:

It is a 10-day cleanse protocol that supports all the major elimination organs at once. Part 1 rotates through colon, abdomen, right hypochondrium, spleen and pancreas, and kidney points on a five-day cycle run twice; Part 2 adds the Blood points every second day. It is used to prepare for and accompany a detox or dietary programme, for seasonal cleansing, and after periods of poor diet, stress or toxin exposure. coMra does not deplete the body during a cleanse – it gives each organ additional energy while it works, so mild tiredness or a skin reaction during the course is the body clearing; drink plenty of water and keep moving gently.

Question:

Which coMra protocol is used for stress, poor sleep and low mood?
Answer:

Universal 5 and Universal 7. Universal 5 (Somatic Biostimulation 2) is a 23-minute routine over sternum, head and adrenal points, indicated for emotional exhaustion, depression, insomnia, lethargy, adrenal dysfunction and stress – applied twice daily until improvement, then for seven more days. Universal 7 (Nervous System) is Universal 5 plus the Blood points every second day, for fuller nervous-system and circulatory support. Any session that includes head or heart points is followed by 5 to 10 minutes of rest.

Question:

What are the Vitality protocols (Universal 4 and 6) for?
Answer:

Universal 4 (Somatic Biostimulation 1) addresses physical exhaustion and is the general wellbeing routine for anyone doing heavy physical work – athletes, dancers, gymnasts. It runs as a six-day cycle, one part per day, then a two-week rest and one repeat. Universal 6 (Vitality) extends it into a 12-day cycle: the same six-day rotation run twice with the Blood points added every second day, indicated for recuperation from illness, recovery from surgery, maintenance of the ageing body, fitness programmes and chronic fatigue. Universal 6 is then repeated every six months, or as often as wanted.

Question:

What does the Blood protocol (Universal 3) do?
Answer:

Universal 3 irradiates the full volume of circulating blood without anything entering the body, by treating arterial points where blood runs close to the surface – carotid, subclavian, axillary, anconeal (inner elbow) and femoral arteries, both sides. The session is 10 minutes at 5 Hz, one minute per point. For general wellbeing it runs once daily every second day for 20 days, followed by a two-week rest, and is typically repeated every six months. It is the single most called-in component of other protocols, because oxygen transport, immune defence and clotting all depend on the blood.

Question:

Which coMra protocol should I start with?
Answer:

If you have a named condition, start with the protocol the User Guide lists for it. If you are starting for general wellbeing, recovery or prevention, choose the Universal Treatment that matches your goal: Universal 3 (Blood) for systemic support and immunity, Universal 6 (Vitality) for physical exhaustion and recuperation after illness or surgery, and Universal 5 or 7 for stress, sleep and emotional exhaustion. You do not need medical expertise to run any of them – knowing the frequency and time settings is enough, and the protocol tells you both.

Question:

What are the coMra Universal Treatments?
Answer:

They are eight baseline protocols that support the body as a whole rather than one organ, and they form the foundation that the condition-specific protocols build on. Universal 1 (HEAD) supports the head region, Universal 2 (HEART) the heart and coronary circulation, Universal 3 (BLOOD) the circulating blood, Universal 4 and Universal 5 are the two Somatic Biostimulation routines for physical and emotional exhaustion, Universal 6 (VITALITY) combines somatic and blood support, Universal 7 (NS) supports the nervous system, and Universal 8 is the complete organ and cleanse treatment. They are the go-to routines for fatigue, recovery from illness or surgery, and preventive maintenance – and many condition protocols call one of them in as a component, most often Universal 3.

Question:

What is a coMra treatment protocol?
Answer:

A protocol is a named sequence of treatment points, each with its own time and frequency, plus a schedule saying how often to repeat the sequence and for how long. Every protocol in the coMra User Guide has the same shape: the indications it is chosen for, a total session time, a table of points (minutes per point, Hz per point), and a course pattern – for example "twice daily until improvement is noticed, then continue for seven more days." You work through the table top to bottom and apply it as written; the only device setting a protocol asks you to change is the frequency it names.

Question:

Does the coMra device have to touch bare skin?
Answer:

Yes – the device is placed directly on the skin. Clothing, bandages and casts distort the radiances, so treating through them wastes the session, and jewellery over the treatment area comes off for the same reason; hair and animal fur are the exception and need no shaving. Sensitive electronics such as laptops and hard drives stay more than 30 cm away, because the magnetic field can damage them. And since the device is held in position against the skin for the length of the session, coMra is used before or after driving, never while driving or operating machinery.

Question:

Can I use coMra on someone else, or is it meant for self-treatment?
Answer:

Both, and neither needs medical training. coMra was designed from the ground up for use outside a medical facility, so treating a family member is ordinary home use – infants and children are always treated by an adult, and in clinics trained assistants run protocols the practitioner has set. What makes this workable is the safety profile: with no titration and no overdose risk, handing the treatment to a non-specialist introduces no clinical risk. Learning to apply it is part of the benefit – self-care skill is one of the four functional reserves coMra addresses.

Question:

Is coMra suitable for elderly or frail people?
Answer:

Yes – there is no upper age limit, and coMra is as safe for elderly people as it is during pregnancy and in acute conditions. The low individual intensities are precisely what makes it appropriate for people who would not tolerate a stronger intervention. Where the body is severely exhausted or a chronic disease is advanced, the approach is graduated rather than restricted: the first one or two courses are best done with a gentler 980 nm device (coMra Pro 980 or Palm 2) to rebuild resources, and the deeper-acting Pro 905 comes in only once that initial depletion has been overcome. What sets the pace is how depleted the body is, not age.

Question:

Can coMra be used on open wounds and burns?
Answer:

Yes – wounds, cuts and burns are among the fastest-responding applications there are. Broken skin, burns and superficial ulcers are treated at 1000 Hz, the least penetrating of the settings; larger wounds and infected sites use the variable setting. Dressings come off before treatment, since bandages distort the radiances, and for a plaster cast a hole the size of the device's treatment head is cut directly opposite the fracture. Where a hygienic barrier is needed, a single thin layer of transparent cling wrap is acceptable.

Question:

Can you overdo coMra, or use it too much?
Answer:

No – overdose is not a risk category for coMra. Each of the four radiances runs at an intensity lower than any of those modalities uses on its own, and the synergy between them keeps the device inside the stimulatory window of the biphasic dose response, so running longer or harder adds nothing. Extended treatment stays safe but becomes less effective: for an acute problem, three or four short sessions a day work better than one long one. The clinical variables are duration and treatment site, never intensity.

Question:

Can coMra be used by someone with cancer?
Answer:

Yes – cancer is not a contraindication for coMra. The reason is the power profile: coMra's radiances are low-level and non-damaging by design, they do not damage DNA or any other part of a cell, and the fifty-year clinical record of low-level laser, magnetotherapy, ultrasound and photobiomodulation shows no carcinogenic effect. What coMra does here is what it does everywhere – support functional reserve, ease pain, and help sleep and digestion, including in palliative and end-of-life care. It does not treat the tumour.

Question:

Can I use coMra while I'm taking medication?
Answer:

Yes. coMra can be combined safely with pharmacological treatment – it has no chemical action of its own to interact with a drug, and it is used equally in the run-up to and aftermath of surgical and pharmacological interventions. Because it improves cellular energy metabolism, medication tends to work better alongside it, and as healing progresses the need for symptom management often falls away naturally. Any reduction in dose follows the improvement rather than preceding it.

Question:

Do metal implants, stents or artificial joints affect coMra treatment?
Answer:

No. coMra's magnetic field is a weak permanent static field – not strong enough to move an implant or to heat metal – so plates, screws, stents and artificial joints interact safely with treatment. An artificial joint is in fact a good reason for preventive use: where a structural deficit is expected to worsen over time, 3–5 treatment courses a year are recommended. Rings and other jewellery do come off before treating the hands or neck, because metal on the skin surface reflects and distorts the radiances.

Question:

Can I use coMra if I have a pacemaker?
Answer:

Yes, subject to one firm distance rule: the device never comes within 30 cm of the heart or of the pacemaker, because the device's static magnetic field can interfere with the implant's electronics. The same 30 cm rule applies to an implanted neurostimulator. Outside that radius, treatment proceeds normally. Independently of implants, the heart area itself is only ever treated at 5 Hz, and any session that includes the head or heart is followed by 5–10 minutes of rest.

Question:

Is coMra safe to use around the eyes?
Answer:

The eye area can be treated, but laser light must never come into contact with an open eye – this is the one hard rule of coMra use. The 905 nm and 980 nm laser light is infrared and therefore invisible: brief exposure can cause serious damage and prolonged exposure permanent blindness, so the eyelids are closed for any treatment near the eye. Keep them closed for the coloured LED light too – it is harmless, but irritating at that distance – and the 5 Hz deep-penetration setting is not used on the eye area.

Question:

Can coMra be used on babies and young children?
Answer:

Yes, and children benefit from it especially, above all as prevention. Any adult treatment can be applied to a child; the single adaptation for infants under 3 is to halve the exposure time – not because of a safety margin, but because infants and children respond considerably faster than adults. An adult applies the treatment, and the device itself is kept out of children's reach between sessions, as any laser apparatus should be.

Question:

Can I use coMra therapy during pregnancy?
Answer:

Yes – coMra is safe to use throughout pregnancy, and pregnancy is explicitly not a contraindication. It works by restoring the body's own functional reserve rather than by introducing a substance, so the everyday complaints of pregnancy – colds and flu, headaches, digestive trouble, blood-pressure and postural back pain – can be addressed without the fetal risk that medication carries. The low intensity that makes this possible also means there is no dose to get wrong.

Question:

Does coMra therapy have any contraindications?
Answer:

coMra has no absolute contraindications – there is no condition, age or state of health that rules it out, and pregnancy, cancer and treatment of the eye area are specifically included rather than excluded. What it does have is a short list of precautions: laser light must never reach an open eye, the device stays at least 30 cm from a cardiac or neurostimulator implant, the heart area is treated only at 5 Hz, and the device is applied to bare skin. "No absolute contraindications" means nobody is excluded; it does not mean there are no rules.

Question:

How does coMra relate to established low-level laser therapy?
Answer:

coMra builds on low-level laser therapy (also called photobiomodulation), a well-researched way of supporting cells with gentle light, and adds a magnetic field, ultrasound and coloured light to it. Together they help cells produce more energy and move molecules more efficiently: the laser and the magnetic field open an additional route for the cell to make its energy, and the ultrasound speeds up transport through the tissue. Like all low-level light therapy, it follows a simple rule – low doses stimulate the cell, high doses inhibit it – and coMra keeps every radiance low, in the stimulating range. In one sentence: your body does the healing, and coMra gives your cells the energy for it.

Question:

Is there anyone I shouldn't treat with coMra?
Answer:

Effectively no – coMra has no absolute contraindications, so it comes down to a couple of practical precautions, all listed in the User Guide, rather than ruling people out. The one to remember: keep the device at least 30 cm away from a pacemaker or artificial valve, because of its static magnetic field. Everything else in that family is fine – metal implants, stents, artificial joints and tissue inserts all interact safely, and the field isn't strong enough to move or heat them. Pregnancy, cancer care and eye work are all within scope; for the eyes, skip 5 Hz and keep them closed for points on the orbit, and low-level laser at coMra's wavelength and power doesn't stimulate tumour growth.

Question:

Can I use coMra while a patient continues their medication or has surgery scheduled?
Answer:

Yes on both counts, and nothing has to be stopped or paused. coMra is compatible with pharmaceutical medication and doesn't ask anyone to come off anything; as healing progresses patients often find they need less, which tends to happen of its own accord. Around surgery it's one of the clearest applications – beforehand to prepare, and after any major intervention, since pain relief and tissue stabilisation begin during the session itself. Protocols also combine, so a local problem and a systemic one, or a flare-up on top of a chronic condition, can all be covered in the same visit.

Question:

What equipment does a practice need to start with coMra?
Answer:

One device and the User Guide. For a clinic the 905 nm professional device is the usual choice: deeper penetration and more power mean shorter sessions and 2–3 visits a week rather than daily, which fits an appointment book far better. The portable Palm suits multi-bed layouts and moving between rooms, and it's also the device patients buy to keep treatment going at home between visits. With a very depleted patient, run the first course or two on a 980 nm device to rebuild resources, and move to the 905 nm device afterwards for more intensive work.

Question:

What training do I need before offering coMra in my practice?
Answer:

Not much, and no prior laser experience is assumed. A short orientation plus the User Guide is enough to start designing treatments – the Guide is the real resource, with more than 100 protocols for over 200 conditions, indexed by condition and body system, each with point diagrams, frequencies and exposure times, searchable in PDF, app or web form. Beyond that there are self-paced video modules, and the coMra Life platform, where practitioners with years of coMra behind them will happily talk a case through with you. Training and education are available for your staff and your clients as well, not only for you.

Question:

How do I set patient expectations before starting coMra?
Answer:

Give two timelines rather than one. Acute pain and a general lift in wellbeing usually show up in the first session, since ATP availability normalises within minutes, whereas chronic and structural cases run weeks to months because regeneration takes the time it takes. It helps to walk patients through the order things come back in – pain and energy first, organ function over days, regulation over weeks, tissue structure over months. Say up front, too, that with significant nerve or tissue damage the first relief may last only a few hours before pain returns: that's the normal pattern at that stage, not a failure, and not an analgesic wearing off.

Question:

Which conditions respond best to coMra?
Answer:

coMra works the same way wherever you put it – restoring the cell's functional reserve rather than going after a named disease – so what varies is how quickly the tissue can put that to use. Quickest to respond: wounds, bruises, burns, peripheral pain, infections and inflammation. Joints, the brain, internal organs and whole body systems respond well but want more sustained work, while endocrine, autoimmune and skin conditions come round over a longer course. With hereditary and genetic disorders coMra makes life more comfortable rather than changing the condition itself.

Question:

Do I need to adjust the intensity when planning a coMra course?
Answer:

No – there is nothing to titrate. The four radiances amplify each other, so each one runs at a low intensity inside a broad safe window – driving any of them harder gains nothing, and intensities that low can't do harm. Planning therefore comes down to two things: how long you treat and which points you treat, both taken from the protocol and then adjusted to how the patient responds. No dose calculations, no ramping up.

Question:

How does a coMra session fit into a practice workflow?
Answer:

Most protocols run around 30 minutes, with the range going from 5 minutes for a small acute area up to 2 hours for a full multi-area treatment; the default is a minute per point. Setup is minimal – the device goes straight onto the skin over the points in the diagram, and precision isn't needed, since the beam spreads to cover the device's own footprint. You can stack protocols in one session, usually a systemic Universal treatment plus the local points for the condition. A portable device moves easily between rooms, or stays with one patient who runs it themselves once you've shown them how.

Question:

Can someone else on my team run the coMra sessions?
Answer:

Yes – anyone on your team can, after a short briefing. The device is safe by design: there's no intensity to set wrong, nothing to overdose on, and reactions are extremely rare precisely because the intensities are so low. Each protocol states exactly which points to treat, for how long and at which frequency, so once you have chosen one, placing the device and running the session is straightforward. That leaves you free to carry on with your own therapy while treatments run in parallel – and the same holds for patients, who can keep going at home with their own device.

Question:

Which types of practice does coMra fit into?
Answer:

Most coMra practitioners come from natural medicine – acupuncturists, reflexologists, osteopaths and chiropractors, herbalists and homeopaths, Bowen and manual therapists, physiotherapists, device-therapy specialists, and vets. It sits alongside whatever you already do rather than replacing any of it, because coMra doesn't act on a disease pathway: it restores the tissue's functional reserve, which is the same self-healing capacity your own modality is already working with. The easiest place to start is a case that has stalled – the patient who improved and then plateaued. And when a regular client turns up with something outside your usual range, you can treat it from the User Guide instead of sending them elsewhere.

Question:

Can I use the same coMra device for my family and my pets?
Answer:

Yes – there is no separate animal device; the veterinary guides use the same coMra devices as the human protocols, and the frequencies serve the same purposes as in the human protocols. Only the treatment points and durations change with species and size. For hygiene, cover the treatment head with cling wrap when treating wounds, infections or dusty coats.

Question:

Can coMra therapy be used on horses?
Answer:

Yes – a dedicated Cow & Horse user guide adapts every protocol to large-animal anatomy and adds equine-specific ones: hoof protocols for laminitis, frog rot, pododermatitis and shoeing injuries, plus colic and pastern injuries. The veterinary guide's vitality routine (Universal 4) covers training for competition, recuperation and muscle tone, alongside protocols for wounds, joints, tendons and muscle sprains. Horses' dusty coats call for one adaptation – wrap the treatment head in cling film; the fur itself stays on, as it conducts the radiances.

Question:

Is coMra treatment different for cats and dogs?
Answer:

The treatment points, frequencies and course structure are the same – only the time per point differs, with cats receiving shorter durations because of their smaller bodies (typically half a minute per point where a dog gets one minute). Small dogs such as pugs and chihuahuas follow the cat timings, as do rabbits and hares. Both species are covered in a single Cat & Dog veterinary user guide.

Question:

Can coMra therapy be used on my pet's wounds and injuries?
Answer:

Yes – cuts, abrasions, bruises, insect bites, minor burns, open wounds and post-surgery sutures are all covered by the Surgery 1 protocol: the affected area is scanned twice daily until it improves, alongside the Universal 3 routine, which supports overall healing through the blood supply. Fur around the wound stays on – it conducts the radiances – and the treatment head is covered with cling wrap over broken skin for hygiene. Bone fractures have their own protocol, applied twice daily until full recovery through an opening cut in the cast directly over the fracture.

Question:

How long does a coMra session last for a pet?
Answer:

Sessions are short and scale with body size: a head protocol for a cat or dog takes about 4.5–6 minutes, a single joint about 5 minutes, and the full vitality routine 17–19 minutes (34 minutes for a horse or cow). The device simply rests on the coat point by point, and most courses run once daily, every second day, with a one-month rest between courses. If an animal becomes restless – usually near the ears, where it can sense the ultrasound – switch the ultrasound off for those points and reintroduce it once the animal is accustomed.

Question:

Can coMra help an older dog with arthritis or hip dysplasia?
Answer:

Yes – the veterinary guide includes dedicated protocols for hip arthritis, hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis of the elbow, knee, carpal and hock joints. coMra does not mask the pain; it restores the energy supply the joint tissues need to repair themselves. A hip course runs 14 days of short daily sessions, repeated after rest breaks until full relief, and ageing dogs can also be supported with the veterinary guide's vitality routine (Universal 4), which covers muscle tone, recuperation and ageing.

Question:

Do I need to shave my pet's fur before using coMra?
Answer:

No – fur and feathers conduct the radiances, so nothing needs to be shaved or plucked; the device is placed directly on the coat. Animals are more responsive to coMra than humans, and even partial penetration through dense fur produces good results. For dusty coats (typical with horses) and for wounds or infected areas, cover the treatment head with cling wrap for hygiene.

Question:

Which animals can coMra therapy be used on?
Answer:

coMra has dedicated veterinary user guides for cats, dogs, cows and horses. The cat protocols also cover rabbits, hares and small dog breeds such as pugs and chihuahuas, and the general notes extend to birds and other farm animals – fur and feathers conduct the radiances rather than block them. The same devices used for people are used for animals; only the treatment points and durations are adapted to each species' anatomy.

Question:

Is coMra therapy safe for pets?
Answer:

Yes. Each of the four radiances works at low intensity within a broad safe window, so coMra has no overdose risk and no absolute contraindications – for animals just as for people. The veterinary guides add a few firm rules: keep the animal's eyelids closed when treating near the eyes, use only the 5 Hz frequency over the heart area, and remove bandages or plaster casts before treating, because they distort the radiances.

Question:

How is coMra different from the red-light recovery panels in gyms?
Answer:

A red-light panel delivers one modality; coMra delivers four into the same volume of tissue at the same moment – a low-level 905 or 980 nm infrared laser, a static magnetic field, ultrasound, and red, indigo-violet and yellow-green LEDs delivered in a set sequence. The combination is not additive: infrared laser, red LED and magnetic field applied together changed the activity of the mitochondria – the cell's power plants – by 22%, while applied separately they produced no detectable change at all, and light alone had to be ten times stronger to come close. That synergy is why coMra works at intensities low enough for daily home use, and why a single radiance on its own does not deliver a quarter of the coMra effect. For recovery the LED order matters too: the rejuvenation sequence – red, then yellow-green, then indigo-violet – is the one used for enhancing healthy tissue after exercise, and on the coMra Pro it is selected with the Vitality function.

Question:

Can older adults use coMra to stay active?
Answer:

Yes – Universal 6 (Vitality) names maintenance and support for the ageing body among its indications, next to general well-being, fitness programmes and long-term preventive care. It runs as a 12-day course: one part daily, a second part every other day, then two weeks' rest, repeated every six months or as often as wanted. The 980 nm laser of the coMra Pro 980 and Palm 2 is the wavelength for this use – it delivers energy more gradually and is safe for home use at any age. Age does not limit coMra; it sets the pacing.

Question:

Does coMra support strength training and muscle building?
Answer:

Yes – muscle conditioning is its own routine, applied one to two times daily to the muscle group actually trained, every point one minute at 50 Hz. It is split into three parts so only the relevant one is run: chest, shoulder and triceps (16 minutes); back and biceps (14 minutes); legs (26 minutes). The training plans rotate the parts by training day – legs on long-run and rest days, upper body on the corresponding weight days. The same routine is also used ad hoc before a competitive event.

Question:

Can coMra help with knee and joint strain from running?
Answer:

Yes, and joints have their own frequency setting – the variable frequency, which cycles through 5, 50 and 1000 Hz so one area is treated at several depths. The knee routine covers the lateral projections, the zones above and below the patella and the popliteal fossa: 15 minutes, once daily for 15 days, then three weeks' rest before repeating. Where there is osteoarthritis in the knee, Universal 3 (Blood) is applied alongside it. For ordinary training load rather than a damaged joint, what runners use after long runs is the recovery routine with its leg add-on – five points along each leg at 50 Hz.

Question:

Can athletes use coMra every day?
Answer:

Yes – daily use is the intended pattern for training support. Preparation runs once daily, recovery one to three times daily, muscle conditioning once or twice daily on the region trained; through an intense training period four to five sessions of roughly 20–30 minutes can stack in a single day. There is no overdose risk, because the synergetic design keeps each radiance inside a broad safe window, but the precautions still hold: 5–10 minutes rest after any head or heart session, and 5 Hz only in the heart area. The Universal protocols work differently – they are courses with defined rest periods rather than open-ended daily use.

Question:

Can coMra improve sleep for better training recovery?
Answer:

Yes – night-time restful sleep is one of the uses of the recovery routine, so the same 10 minutes that handles post-training recovery doubles as sleep support. Before a big event, the heavy-stress routine is best applied the night before, for restful sleep and a balanced state going in. For persistent sleep trouble the protocols are Universal 5, or Universal 5 paired with Universal 7, applied in the evening. Sleep also improves indirectly: the better overall health gets, the better sleep becomes with time.

Question:

Can coMra help with focus and mental clarity?
Answer:

Mental performance sits alongside physical performance in what coMra supports – in the office as much as on the pitch. Brain fog and difficulty concentrating are usually signs of a depleted nervous system and exhausted adrenal function rather than a problem in the head alone, and Universal 5 is the protocol for that picture: emotional exhaustion, stress, adrenal dysfunction, lethargy. Its head points – frontal, temples and suboccipital – run at 50 Hz; 5 Hz is never used on the brain. The route to clearer thinking is restoring the regulatory reserve underneath attention, not stimulating it.

Question:

Can coMra improve endurance and energy levels?
Answer:

Restoring energy is the first thing coMra does, and there are two courses built for it. Universal 4 (Somatic Biostimulation 1) is the general well-being protocol for anyone doing heavy physical work – athletes, sportspeople, gymnasts, dancers – run as a six-day rotation, one part per day. Universal 6 (Vitality) is the longer 12-day course, with fitness programmes, physical exhaustion and chronic fatigue syndrome among its indications. Mid-day there is also the 8–10 minute energy booster over the cervical and lumbar spine at 50 Hz, used as a pick-me-up between training sessions.

Question:

Should I use coMra before or after a workout?
Answer:

Both, with a different routine for each. Before activity, the preparation routine primes the body for workload: 15 minutes, one minute per point at 5 Hz across the carotid, subclavian, axillary, anconeal and femoral arteries plus heart, liver, spleen and kidneys – once daily, early morning or ahead of the session. Afterwards the recovery routine takes over, and it can be repeated between sessions on the same day. Because preparation includes the heart point, keep the standard 5–10 minute rest before you start moving.

Question:

How does coMra help muscles recover after training?
Answer:

The recovery routine is applied after training, between same-day sessions, or at night – 10 minutes over liver, spleen, solar plexus, adrenal glands and kidneys, one to three times daily, finishing with a scan of both sides of the lumbosacral spine at 1000 Hz. When the session trained arms or legs, the matching add-on goes with it: base of neck and long head of the triceps for arms, five points along each leg from the piriformis to below the calf for legs. Recovery works through cellular energy – coMra accelerates regeneration and recharges the body's energy reserves, which is also what lowers the risk of over-training. For the fastest muscle recovery, the coMra Pro 905 combines its deeper-reaching 905 nm laser with ultrasound.

Question:

Is there a coMra routine that makes sense for a whole family?
Answer:

Yes – the Universal Treatments are the family default, because they offer a sense of well-being to anyone, whether or not they are dealing with a particular ailment. A typical routine: Universal 3 or Universal 6 as the shared course a few times a year, Universal 5 in the evening for whoever is under strain or sleeping badly, and the specific protocol from the User Guide when something acute comes up. Children use the adult protocols with the exposure time shortened – halved for infants under three, who respond faster than adults – and for children coMra is especially valuable as prevention.

Question:

How can coMra support recovery after an illness?
Answer:

Universal 6 (Vitality) is the recuperation protocol – its indications include recovery from illness and from surgery, general weakness and chronic fatigue. It runs as a 12-day cycle: Part 1 daily and Part 2 (the blood points) every second day, then two weeks' rest, with the course repeated once if needed. While you are still depleted, a 980 nm device (coMra Pro 980 or Palm 2) is the right choice for the first one or two courses: it delivers energy more gradually and rebuilds resources before anything more intensive.

Question:

How does chronic stress drain the body physically, and what does coMra do about it?
Answer:

Stress carries a measurable energy cost: psychological stress can take up to 30% of the body's daily energy expenditure, altered sleep up to another 30%, anxiety up to 10% – energy that is then unavailable for repair, digestion and immune defence. Sustained cortisol and adrenaline also suppress immune function directly, which is why stressful periods and infections tend to arrive together. Universal 5 works the adrenals and the nervous system to lower that stress-hormone burden, and Universal 7 adds circulatory support for a fuller course.

Question:

What can coMra do about everyday tiredness and afternoon energy dips?
Answer:

Universal 3 is the protocol for exactly this – a 10-minute pass over the main arteries at 5 Hz, giving a sense of vitalisation, and it is the one recommended for the afternoon dip at work. Where the tiredness is emotional rather than physical, Universal 5 (Somatic Biostimulation 2) addresses the adrenal side; Universal 4 is the one for physical exhaustion after heavy load or training. All three work the same way: coMra opens an additional ATP synthesis channel, so cells have more energy available for their own work instead of running at a deficit.

Question:

Can coMra improve my sleep quality if I don't have insomnia?
Answer:

Yes – sleep is one of the first things to shift as coMra takes effect. In the regenerative sequence, restoration of sleep quality and digestion follows directly after pain relief and the return of energy, before mood and neuro-immuno-endocrine regulation come right. Universal 5 applied in the evening is the protocol for this, with Universal 7 paired to it when stress is what keeps the nervous system from downshifting. Sleep also improves indirectly: as overall health improves, so does sleep, with time.

Question:

How long does the immune effect of a coMra course last?
Answer:

The immune effect peaks on days 6–9 of treatment, stays elevated for 10–14 days in total, then declines gradually over the following 14–60 days. That shape is why a 12-day preventive course belongs before a period of exposure rather than in the middle of it, and why the preventive pattern is several courses a year rather than one. Treated in good time, ordinary colds and flu also run at least 40–50% shorter.

Question:

Can coMra therapy help me get through winter without catching everything?
Answer:

Yes, and there are two graded preventive courses for it. Immune Support 1 – Universal 2 plus Universal 3, once daily for 12 days – is for people under 50 without chronic disease; Immune Support 2 pairs Universal 2 with Universal 6 on the same 12-day schedule for those over 50 or living with a chronic condition. coMra is not aimed at any particular virus or bacterium: it builds the body's own self-repair and self-defence functions, which is why one course serves whatever the season brings.

Question:

Can I use coMra before a stressful event or a medical procedure?
Answer:

Yes – a preventive course ahead of an anticipated stress is one of the main preventive uses of coMra. That includes physical demand such as a competition, mental and emotional demand such as exams, diagnostic procedures such as an X-ray, and medication or surgery. The logic is to raise reserve before the load arrives instead of repairing a deficit afterwards.

Question:

How many preventive coMra courses should I do in a year?
Answer:

Three to five courses a year is the standard preventive rhythm. The individual protocols carry their own cadence: a 20-day Universal 3 course applied every second day, or the 12-day Universal 6 cycle – each followed by two weeks' rest, and repeated roughly every six months. Courses are worth placing deliberately rather than evenly: if you have a history of a recurring illness, a course run in advance of the season it usually arrives in is what the protocol calls for.

Question:

Which coMra treatments are used for general prevention?
Answer:

Universal Treatments 3, 4, 5 and 6 are the prevention set. Universal 6 (Vitality) is the dedicated long-term health care and preventive protocol, and also the one for maintaining the ageing body; Universal 3 (Blood) is a 10-minute pass over the main arteries at 5 Hz for general well-being; Universal 5 covers the nervous system and adrenals; Universal 4 is for physical exhaustion and heavy physical load. If a specific concern is not listed in the User Guide, Universal 3 and Universal 5 are the standard starting pair.

Question:

Can coMra help when I feel off but my test results come back normal?
Answer:

That is precisely the subclinical stage, and it is where acting earliest pays most: general weakness, reduced stamina, poor digestion, disturbed sleep, unusual irritability and small unrelated shifts in test results all belong to it. Functional reserve is the difference between resting function and what an organ can deliver under load, so reserve can already be falling while a single baseline measurement still reads normal. The Universal Treatments are the tool for this stage – they lift systemic reserve rather than wait for a diagnosis to aim at.

Question:

Is there any point in using coMra therapy when nothing is wrong?
Answer:

Yes – building functional reserve while you are still well is the first of coMra's five areas of application, not an afterthought to treatment. The Universal Treatments raise the body's baseline capacity across organ systems instead of acting on a named problem, so they benefit anyone whether or not they have a diagnosed condition. Prevention in this sense means maintaining wellness rather than recovering lost health – it is easier to keep the balance than to restore it once it is gone.

Question:

How long do coMra devices last?
Answer:

coMra devices are built for years of daily service – many customers are still using theirs after more than a decade. Every device carries an 18-month warranty covering defects in design, materials and workmanship; registering within 90 days of purchase activates full coverage. After the warranty period, servicing remains available through a global network of service centres at a minimal charge.

Question:

Are coMra laser devices safe to use at home?
Answer:

Yes – coMra devices use low-level lasers (Class IIa infrared in the Palm 2 and Pro, Class I green in the Palm Green) designed for home use by people of all ages, with no overdose risk. Two firm rules apply: never point the laser at open eyes (the infrared beam is invisible; close the eyelids when treating around the eyes – the same rule applies to the Palm Green's visible green beam), and keep the device at least 30 cm away from cardiac pacemakers or neurostimulators. If you are sensitive to the laser, the Palm 2, Palm Green and Pro all let you switch to a reduced power setting via the Function button.

Question:

What are the frequency settings on coMra devices for?
Answer:

The pulse frequency selects the depth and type of tissue the treatment addresses, and every coMra device lets you set it per protocol point. In brief: 5 Hz works on internal organs and deep tissue, 50 Hz on muscles and structures near the skin surface, 1000 Hz on skin and sensitive nerves, and the Variable setting cycles through all three for joints and multi-depth needs. You never have to work it out yourself – each protocol in the user guide states the frequency for every point.

Question:

Do all coMra devices use the same treatment protocols?
Answer:

The main coMra user guide – with protocols for over 200 conditions – serves the infrared devices: Palm 2, Pro 980 and Pro 905. Every protocol uses the same simple format of numbered points, minutes per point and frequency setting, so the method carries over if you ever change devices. The Palm Green follows its own dedicated Harmony guide for stress and nervous-system work, and specialised guides (Beauty & Wellness, Body & Mind Performance, Veterinary) extend the library – all free to download.

Question:

What do I need to get started with coMra therapy?
Answer:

Just the device and the free coMra user guide – nothing else. The user guide (printable PDF, mobile app for iOS/Android, or web app) gives step-by-step protocols listing exactly where to place the device, for how many minutes and at which frequency, for over 200 conditions. The device is applied directly to clean skin, with no gels, creams or consumables involved.

Question:

How are coMra devices powered, and how long does the battery last?
Answer:

Every coMra device runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with built-in protection circuits. The Palm series uses a 650 mAh battery giving up to 4–5 hours of continuous use, with LED indicators showing battery status; the Pro carries a much larger 3000 mAh battery for extended sessions. No mains connection is needed during treatment – the device is fully cordless in use.

Question:

Which coMra device is best for travel?
Answer:

The coMra Palm 2 – it is compact and lightweight, fits in a handbag or pocket, and runs for hours of continuous use on a charge – it was designed for treatment on the go. The Palm Green shares the same portable format for stress relief while travelling. The Pro is also mobile-capable: it ships with a durable leather-coated magnetic case made for moving between home and clinic.

Question:

Can I use a coMra device on my pets – and which one?
Answer:

Yes – the Pro 980, Palm 2 and Palm Green are all recommended for pets alongside the family. There is no need to shave or pluck the treatment area: fur and feathers conduct the radiances. Free veterinary user guides (Cat & Dog, and Cow & Horse) map animal anatomy and give complete protocols.

Question:

Can one coMra device cover the whole family?
Answer:

Yes. The coMra Pro 980, Palm 2 and Palm Green are each recommended for the whole family, including pets. All radiances operate at low intensities within a broad therapeutic window, so there is no overdose risk and the same device is safe for babies, adults and the elderly. One device simply travels from family member to family member, following the protocol each person needs.

Question:

What does the ultrasound in the coMra Pro actually do?
Answer:

Ultrasound is the fourth radiance, present only in the Pro 905 and Pro 980. Working at low frequency alongside the laser, magnetism and colour light, it accelerates the transport of fluids and molecules through tissue and helps ailing cells reorganise internally. In practice this means faster recovery where the body has serious work to do – significant injuries and degenerative changes.

Question:

Which coMra device do professionals use?
Answer:

The coMra Pro 905 is the practitioners' choice. Its 905 nm laser penetrates deepest, produces faster action in serious injury and degenerative changes, and allows for less frequent treatments in clinical settings – a session structure that suits a practice schedule. It is equally recommended for home users who treat every day and want maximum effect per session.

Question:

Can the coMra Palm Green replace an infrared coMra device?
Answer:

No – the two are complementary, not interchangeable. The Palm Green handles emotional stress and nervous-system rebalancing; for recovery from serious injury, severe exhaustion or advanced disease, the infrared devices (Palm 2, Pro 980, Pro 905) working from the main coMra user guide are the right tool. The Harmony guide itself directs users to the infrared range for those situations. Many households run both: green for daily balance, infrared for physical recovery.

Question:

What is the green laser on the coMra Palm Green for?
Answer:

The Palm Green's 520 nm green laser is chosen for its strong calming effect on the nervous system – it helps the body shift out of fight-or-flight into a state of rest where regeneration happens. It is the device for everyday emotional stress, low sleep quality, exhaustion, low mood and the physical symptoms that ride along with them, such as skin irritation and digestive upset. It comes with its own dedicated Harmony user guide of systemic and local protocols.

Question:

Should I choose a 905 nm or a 980 nm coMra laser?
Answer:

Choose 980 nm for vitality, preventative care and everyday family use; choose 905 nm for recovery from serious injuries and severe chronic or degenerative conditions. Light at 905 nm is six times less absorbed by water (blood, lymph, intercellular fluids) than 980 nm, so more energy reaches deep tissue – giving stronger systemic effects and allowing less frequent treatments. That deeper reach is why the 905 nm Pro is the version practitioners work with.

Question:

What is the difference between the coMra Palm 2 and the coMra Pro?
Answer:

The coMra Pro adds ultrasound as a fourth radiance alongside laser, magnetism and colour LEDs, and comes in two laser versions (905 nm or 980 nm); the Palm 2 combines three radiances – 980 nm infrared laser, magnetism and colour LEDs – in a compact device that fits in a handbag or pocket. Ultrasound brings faster recovery in serious injury or degenerative changes; without it, recovery proceeds at a steady pace with everyday treatment – which is exactly the Palm 2's role. The Pro also carries a larger battery (3000 mAh vs the Palm's 650 mAh).

Question:

Which coMra device should I choose?
Answer:

Match the device to what you need it for. The coMra Pro 905 delivers deep-tissue, professional-grade support for serious chronic conditions and injury recovery; the coMra Pro 980 is the whole-family flagship for pain relief, tissue repair and preventative care; the coMra Palm 2 puts the same infrared therapy in a pocket-size device for treatment on the go; and the coMra Palm Green, with its calming green laser, is built for stress relief and nervous-system balance. All four combine low-level laser, magnetism and colour LED light – the two Pro models add ultrasound.

Question:

Where do I place the device – on the spot that hurts, or somewhere else?
Answer:

Both. For local pain the guidance is to treat the most painful area directly plus four to five surrounding points – Traumatology 14, for instance, treats the zone of injury and four points around it 5 cm apart. For pain that radiates, the nerve source is treated as well: Traumatology 2 scans the paravertebral zone feeding the affected muscle, and Neurology 2 starts at the lumbosacral nerve roots before following the sciatic nerve down the leg. The device always goes directly on the skin – clothing, bandages and plaster casts distort the radiances and must be removed first.

Question:

Once the pain is gone, does it stay gone?
Answer:

Where the tissue has genuinely repaired, the relief holds – it reflects a restored energy state rather than a suppressed signal, so it lasts as long as that state lasts. Published cases show both endings: a 69-year-old man with a C5–C6 disc herniation was completely pain-free and completely off painkillers after seven treatments, with full recovery confirmed at follow-up; a chronic migraine case had three attack-free months and then attacks that stayed milder and less frequent for at least two years. In degenerative conditions the protocols are written to be repeated for exactly this reason – Traumatology 10 in 15-day courses with three weeks' rest, Traumatology 17 revisited every three months or as needed – because keeping functional reserve above the load is what holds the ground gained.

Question:

How quickly does pain respond to coMra, and how long does full healing take?
Answer:

Pain moves first: energy metabolism normalises within minutes and relief is commonly noticed within the first one to five sessions. What follows runs in a fixed order and on a slower clock – tissue function over days, neuro-immuno-endocrine regulation over weeks, structural regeneration over weeks to months. In practice, light chronic pain tends to settle over about two weeks of treatment with deeper healing across two to eight weeks; nerve pain runs to months, and long-standing nerve damage can mean one to three years of regular use. Fast pain relief and completed structural repair run on two different timelines.

Question:

Do acute and chronic pain respond differently to coMra?
Answer:

Yes, and the difference is worth understanding before starting. In acute pain the cell ultrastructure is undamaged and the deficit is temporary, so energy is restored quickly and the relief is durable. Where pain is chronic and the tissue is significantly damaged – advanced degenerative change, severe nerve damage – the first session's relief can last only a few hours before the pain returns, because the cells cannot yet sustain their own energy metabolism once the radiance stops. That return is not treatment failure and not an analgesic wearing off: it demonstrates those cells can be lifted, and each further session lengthens the window until enough structure is repaired for metabolism to become self-sufficient.

Question:

How is coMra different from taking painkillers?
Answer:

Painkillers block the pain signal; coMra removes the reason the signal is being sent. Pain is the body's integrated warning of an intracellular energy deficit: ATP drops, energy-dependent ion pumps and channels lose function, the ion balance around the nerve shifts, and the neuron fires more action potentials. coMra restores the cell's energy supply, the pumps resume, the neuron normalises its excitability and pain diminishes because the alarm condition has been resolved – not because the alarm wire was cut. That is why relief from coMra tracks the actual energetic state of the tissue rather than the half-life of a drug.

Question:

Can I use coMra for sports injuries, sprains and strains?
Answer:

Yes, and acute injuries are among the fastest-responding uses – in intact tissue the energy deficit is temporary, so it lifts quickly and the relief holds. Bruises, sprained muscles and tendons fall under Surgery 1: the device directly on the skin over the affected area, 2 minutes at 5 Hz then 2 minutes at 50 Hz, three times daily until improvement is evident, with Universal 3 (Blood) once a day; sprained ankles have their own protocol (Traumatology 11) and knee injuries another (Traumatology 14). Note that the Body & Mind Performance guide covers training and recovery for healthy bodies; for an actual injury, use the protocols in the main coMra user guide.

Question:

Can coMra therapy help with sciatica?
Answer:

Yes – sciatica and radiculopathy are treated with Neurology 2, which scans both sides of the lumbosacral spine at 1000 Hz to reach the nerve roots, then follows the nerve's path down the affected side (piriformis, sub-buttock, back of the femur, popliteal fossa) at 5 Hz, twice daily for 15 days. Two published accounts show quick responses: a 63-year-old man whose lower-back and hip pain, leg numbness and night pain had resisted physiotherapy and medication was pain-free after the fourth of 15 treatments; and a 55-year-old patient of an integrative physician, four weeks into 9/10 stabbing sciatic pain and unable to walk without a cane, was symptom-free after four sessions alongside supportive measures. Treating the nerve root as well as the leg is the design of the protocol – the pain is felt along the nerve, but the deficit sits where the nerve is compressed.

Question:

Does coMra therapy work for migraines and headaches?
Answer:

Headaches and migraines are covered by Universal 1 (HEAD) – temples, frontal, suboccipital and carotid sinus points, one minute each at 50 Hz, twice daily until improvement and then for a further seven days. In a published case, a woman with some 20 years of chronic migraine (2–3 attacks a month, progressing through aspirin to triptan injections) applied Universal 1 once or twice daily for four weeks; she had no attacks at all for the following three months, and when attacks did return they were less frequent and less severe, holding at that reduced level for at least two years. Migraine bound up with the neck and blood pressure (cervical migraine) is listed under Cardiology 3 instead. Keep the eyelids closed when treating around the head, and rest 5–10 minutes after any session that includes head points.

Question:

Can coMra therapy be used for arthritis in the hands and fingers?
Answer:

Yes – the small joints of the fingers have a dedicated protocol, Traumatology 8, which scans one side of the joints, the palm side and the back of the hand at 5 Hz, 50 Hz then 1000 Hz, once daily for 15 days, followed by three weeks' rest before the course repeats. Remove all rings and jewellery before treating hands: metal reflects and distorts the radiances. Where the joint inflammation is rheumatoid, juvenile or psoriatic, the joints are treated in conjunction with Immunology 1 rather than locally on their own.

Question:

Does coMra therapy help with arthritis in the knees?
Answer:

Knee arthritis has its own protocol, Traumatology 10: the lateral projections of the joint, the zones above and below the patella, and the popliteal fossae, each treated at 5 Hz, 50 Hz then Variable frequency, once daily for 15 days, with Universal 3 (Blood) applied alongside for osteoarthritis. Published knee cases follow a consistent shape – pain easing somewhere between the first and fourth session, then swelling and range of motion improving across the 15-session course; a 12-participant case series run with Traumatology 10 plus Universal 3 over three months reported improvements in pain, daily functioning and quality of life. These are cases and case series, not controlled trials, and the same series notes that exercise, nutrition and emotional support matter alongside the device in chronic joint conditions.

Question:

Can coMra therapy help with lower back pain?
Answer:

Yes – back pain is one of the most common reasons people begin with coMra. Two user-guide protocols cover it: Traumatology 17 for disc and structural involvement (slipped disc, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis) scans the spine from coccyx to occiput at 1000 Hz, then both sides of the vertebral column at 50 Hz, then 2 minutes at 50 Hz over the affected disc; Traumatology 2 addresses the muscular layer plus the paravertebral nerve source feeding the painful area. coMra is not treating the disc as a diagnosis – it restores the cellular energy the tissue needs to repair itself, which is why mobility and sleep usually shift along with the pain.

Question:

Can coMra help a damaged optic nerve or vision loss from optic neuropathy?
Answer:

Restoring optic nerve function is one of the most remarkable results coMra has shown. Neurology 14 is the protocol for disorders of the eyes and optic nerve – 2× daily until significant improvement, then two weeks' rest and a further 14 days – with the eyelids closed throughout, because 905/980 nm infrared light is invisible and must never reach an open eye. A documented case of ischemic optic neuropathy used 18 sessions over 10 weeks and produced reduced blind spots, wider colour fields, clearer near and far vision with better contrast, and improved peripheral vision, with the gains still increasing a month later. Recovery is a series of incremental changes rather than a sudden restoration, and how far it goes depends on how much nerve remains alive.

Question:

Can coMra help nerve pain after chemotherapy?
Answer:

Yes – nerve pain following chemotherapy is one of the nerve-damage situations coMra is used for. Cancer drugs are a recognised cause of toxic neuropathy, and the approach is the same as for any peripheral neuropathy: scan the affected hands or feet, treat the nerve roots and the blood supply (Neurology 15), and add Universal 3 to support circulation and the immune system. coMra is compatible with oncological treatment and does not interfere with medication.

Question:

Does coMra still help if the neuropathy has been there for years?
Answer:

Yes. If symptoms have persisted for years, the nerves are still alive – the body's self-repair simply never had the resources to finish the job. The practical approach for a long-standing case is a genuine trial: regular sessions, at least 1–2 per week for 3–6 months, noting any change at all. Any improvement tells you the nerve has recovery potential and is worth continuing with courses of daily treatment; long-standing damage improves incrementally, and progress feels slow precisely because it is structural repair rather than symptom suppression.

Question:

My nerve pain came back a few hours after the session – did it not work?
Answer:

That is the expected pattern where nerve damage is significant, and it is not a failure. The relief demonstrated that those cells can reach a normal energy state; the pain returns because the cell ultrastructure is still too damaged to hold that state once the session ends. With each course the windows lengthen, because more repaired structure is available to sustain the energy balance on its own. This is the opposite of an analgesic wearing off – nothing was blocked, so nothing wore off.

Question:

How long does nerve recovery take with coMra?
Answer:

Pain often eases within the first sessions, but rebuilding nerve structure is measured in months. Recent nerve damage can resolve in weeks – a documented post-traumatic neuropathy of the ulnar and radial nerves cleared pain and numbness by day 6 of a 10-day course, with follow-up courses completing the recovery. Long-standing neuropathy typically needs a few weeks to several months of daily treatment before initial improvement, then repeat courses; where damage to the nervous system is severe, treatment continues for a year or more until the tissue's energy metabolism becomes self-sufficient. Nerve tissue regenerates slowly, so consistency matters more than intensity.

What can I do about numbness and tingling in my feet or hands?
Answer:

Numbness, tingling and burning in the feet or hands are treated by scanning the affected area directly and treating the nerve roots that serve it. Neurology 15 does exactly this: for legs, scan both sides of the vertebral column at the lumbosacral level for 2 minutes per side, then scan the affected leg including the top and bottom of the foot for 15 minutes per leg; for hands, scan the base of the neck for 2 minutes per side, then 10 minutes per hand – all at 1000 Hz, once daily for 15 days, then two weeks' rest. The same protocol applies whatever the cause: diabetes, impaired blood supply, injury, alcohol toxicity, infection, nutritional deficiency, or no identified cause at all. Expect pain to settle before sensation returns – the healing sequence runs energy first, then function, then structure.

Question:

Does coMra help diabetic peripheral neuropathy?
Answer:

Yes – diabetic neuropathy has its own protocol and its own three-part approach. Years of high blood sugar damage the small vessels that feed the nerves, so treatment addresses the nerves and their cause together: Neurology 15 for the affected feet, hands and nerve roots, Universal 3 for circulation, and Endocrinology 1 over the pancreas and supporting organs for the diabetes itself. These can be combined in a single session, so symptom relief and work on the underlying metabolic condition happen in parallel.

Question:

Why does nerve pain need a different approach from other kinds of pain?
Answer:

Because with nerve damage, the place where you feel the symptom is rarely the whole story. The coMra approach to nerve pain has three steps: treat the area where you feel pain, tingling or numbness; treat the nerve pathway back to its roots beside the spine, along with the blood supply feeding it; and treat whatever caused the damage – the pancreas in diabetes, the affected organs after surgery or infection. Painkillers act on the signal alone, but pain is the tissue's warning of an intracellular energy deficit, so resolving the deficit is what ends it.

Question:

How does laser therapy support nerve repair?
Answer:

coMra delivers four radiances at once – a near-infrared laser (905 nm or 980 nm), a magnetic field, 40 kHz ultrasound, and a sequence of coloured LEDs. Laser and magnetic field together open an additional ATP synthesis channel, cited at a 200–300% gain in ATP synthesis efficiency; the ultrasound improves molecular transport, and the colour sequence carries the regenerative message. For a nerve this means two things at once: the cells have the energy to rebuild their structure, and microcirculation improves so oxygen and nutrients actually reach the damaged fibres. coMra does not stimulate or override the nerve – it creates the conditions in which the nerve repairs itself.

Question:

Can damaged nerves actually regenerate, or is nerve damage permanent?
Answer:

Nerve tissue that is damaged but still alive can recover – what it lacks is enough cellular energy and blood supply to finish a repair it has already begun. coMra restores that functional reserve, so the nerve can rebuild its own structure; persisting symptoms are themselves a sign the nerve is still there and still trying. What cannot be brought back is a nerve branch that was physically destroyed or removed, or tissue that has died and scarred over – coMra cannot recreate a missing nerve. Because nerve tissue rebuilds slowly, recovery arrives as a series of incremental changes rather than a switch being flipped.

Question:

Why doesn't coMra cause side effects the way medication does?
Answer:

Because it does not force anything. A drug works by pushing one pathway up or down, and that push travels into every process coupled to it – that coupling is what side effects are. coMra adds no chemistry and manipulates no single receptor, enzyme or pathway; it improves the conditions the cell works in – energy, transport, regulatory signalling – and leaves the cell's own regulation intact, so a cell that does not need more ATP does not make more. Each radiance also runs at low intensity inside a broad safe window, which is why there is no overdose risk even with extended use; the User Guide precautions still apply, including keeping the device at least 30 cm from a pacemaker.

Question:

How quickly does coMra work, and in what order do changes appear?
Answer:

In a sequence, not all at once, and knowing the sequence is how you read your own progress. Within minutes to the first sessions: pain eases and wellbeing lifts, as cellular energy and membrane transport are restored. Within days: tissue-specific function resumes – sleep, digestion, muscle work, immune activity. Over weeks the neuro-immuno-endocrine system shifts out of stress and depletion towards the calm activation in which repair runs well; structural regeneration comes last, over weeks to months, and where damage is serious and long-standing, months to years.

Question:

Do I need to feel anything during a session for coMra to be working?
Answer:

No. coMra is painless and non-thermal – no heating effect is produced, so there is often little to feel while the treatment head is in place, and that says nothing about whether the therapy is working. The biophysical effects in tissue do not depend on sensation, and they are not disease-dependent: the same energy boost, the same transport enhancement and the same coherent message occur whether or not you notice them. Many people do notice something afterwards – a sensation of lightness in the body and a lift in mood is among the most common reports after treating acute pain, which fits a cellular energy balance that has crossed back above baseline.

Question:

What actually happens in my body during a coMra treatment?
Answer:

Three things at once, in the tissue under the treatment head. The infrared laser and the magnetic field open an additional ATP synthesis channel – the field holds the photoexcited state long enough for the reaction to complete, raising ATP synthesis efficiency by 200–300% – so the cell has more energy available. The ultrasound creates gentle vibration that speeds molecular transport, bringing substrates to enzymes and carrying products away; in vitro, adding 40 kHz ultrasound raised enzymatic clot breakdown from 37% to 93% without mechanically disturbing the clot. Meanwhile the colour sequence delivers the regenerative or rejuvenative message, and in injured tissue energy balance can be restored within minutes.

Question:

Why are the coloured lights delivered in a particular order?
Answer:

Because the order is the message. Healing runs through phases – cleanup, then active growth, then remodelling – and each phase needs a different signal, so coMra sends its three colours (red 650 nm, indigo-violet 420 nm, yellow-green 570 nm) as a sequence rather than as one instruction. Red → indigo-violet → yellow-green is the regeneration sequence, used where tissue is damaged; red → yellow-green → indigo-violet is the rejuvenation sequence, for enhancing healthy tissue and recovering after exertion. On the coMra Pro you choose between them with the Function button: the default Healing function runs the regeneration sequence, and the Vitality function the rejuvenation sequence. That order carries meaning is demonstrable: illuminating cells with blue and then red nearly doubled DNA synthesis, while the reverse order produced no effect at all (Karu, 1985).

Question:

How deep into the body does coMra reach?
Answer:

Deep enough to work on internal organs. The laser operates in the optical window between roughly 600 nm and 1100 nm, where blood and water absorb light least; 905 nm reaches deeper than 980 nm because water absorbs about six times less at that wavelength. Effective depth is then set by the modulation frequency: 5 Hz for 5–10 cm (internal organs), 50 Hz for 1–2 cm, 1000 Hz at the skin surface. Effective depth is not the same thing as how far a single photon travels – it is the depth at which the coherent beam produces its optimal effect.

Question:

Wouldn't a more powerful laser work better?
Answer:

No – the effect comes from the relationship between the four radiances, not from the intensity of any one of them. The emitters are matched to each other, and raising the output of one above the others diminishes the effects of the rest and cancels the synergy that is being sought. Single-modality therapies have to be dosed carefully because of the biphasic response: below a threshold nothing happens, above an upper limit stimulation turns into inhibition. coMra sidesteps that by keeping every radiance low and letting the combination do the work – which is also why treating longer or "harder" than the protocol adds nothing.

Question:

What makes coMra different from an ordinary cold laser or LED device?
Answer:

An ordinary low-level laser or LED device delivers one form of light; coMra delivers four radiances into the same volume of tissue at the same moment – infrared laser, a permanent magnetic field, low-frequency ultrasound, and a sequence of coloured LEDs. The combination is not additive: applied on its own, a single radiance does not produce even a quarter of the coMra effect. Measured directly, infrared laser plus red LED plus magnetic field changed the activity of the mitochondria – the cell's power plants – by 22%, while the same modalities applied separately produced no detectable change at all – and light alone had to be raised tenfold to approach that result. coMra is a coherent combination, not a stronger laser.

Question:

Why does one coMra device work across so many different conditions?
Answer:

Because it works upstream of any single disease mechanism: coMra raises the cell's capacity to self-repair and leaves the decision about what to repair to the body. The biophysical effects in tissue – more available energy, faster molecular transport, a coherent regulatory message – are the same in every tissue and in every condition. What differs is what your body does with them, and that response is specific to your state, your age and your situation. This is why one device applies across a very wide range of conditions without disease-specific tuning.

Question:

What is functional reserve, in plain words?
Answer:

Functional reserve is how much a cell, organ or body can step up its function when more is asked of it – the distance between everyday output and maximum output under load. It has four aspects: energy, structure, regulation, and the person's own psychological engagement in getting well. When the reserve is spent, the cell keeps running but suspends its own repair first, and structure begins to deteriorate – this is what disease looks like from the inside. coMra works on the reserve itself rather than on symptoms, because restoring it is what gives the body room to repair.

Question:

What does "coherence" mean in coMra therapy?
Answer:

Coherence is synchronicity – the degree to which different processes oscillate in step with each other. A rowing boat reaches top speed not when each rower pulls harder but when they all pull in rhythm, and a cell works the same way: its efficiency depends on its internal coherency, because synchronised processes add up while unsynchronised ones cancel out and waste energy on random motion. coMra raises coherence in tissue, so the effort the cell is already making produces more result – no pushing, no forcing a direction. The name states the mechanism: coMra stands for coherence achieved through Modulation of different Radiances.

Question:

How does coMra support healthy ageing and longevity?
Answer:

Ageing is, at heart, a decline in functional reserve: the margin between what your cells do at rest and what they can still do under load. Regular coMra raises that margin systemically, so an ageing body can meet its energetic demands instead of borrowing against them – Universal 6 (Vitality) is essential for preventive medicine and for countering the effects of ageing. In practice this means courses rather than constant use: preventive courses three to five times a year, with Universal 3 (Blood) repeated every six months as maintenance. The visible side – skin, hair, energy – follows that internal margin, which is why the cosmetic protocols are always run on top of the Universal ones, never instead of them.

Question:

Can I use coMra alongside my skincare routine?
Answer:

Yes, with one requirement: the device has to touch bare, clean skin. No creams, oils, serums or clothing between the device and the skin – anything in between sits between the radiances and the tissue they are meant to reach. So cleanse first, run the session on bare skin, and apply your serums and moisturisers afterwards. coMra works on the skin's own capacity to renew itself, so it sits underneath a topical routine rather than replacing it.

Question:

Is it safe to use coMra on my face and around my eyes?
Answer:

Yes, with the rules the Beauty & Wellness guide states for facial work. The laser must never be in contact with open eyes – the infrared is invisible, so eyelids stay closed for any eye-area treatment. Keep the device on bare skin, remove rings and jewellery before hand and neck treatments, and rest 5–10 minutes after any session that includes head points. At these intensities the session is painless and produces no heat or burn sensation, and there is no overdose risk to manage.

Question:

Can coMra help with hair thinning or hair loss?
Answer:

coMra's approach to hair is systemic rather than scalp-local. Hair is the first thing the body de-prioritises when energy is scarce – it is not needed for survival – and thinning usually tracks hormonal and metabolic strain: elevated prolactin, high estrogen, low thyroid function, sustained cortisol. So the treatment goes to those systems: Universal 5 (Somatic Biostimulation 2) for the stress and adrenal axis, Universal 3 (Blood), the hypothyroidism protocol where thyroid function is involved, and liver support at 5 Hz. Restoring hormonal balance takes months, and hair follows that recovery rather than leading it.

Question:

Can coMra help with cellulite or stretch marks?
Answer:

Both have their own protocols, and both are run the same way: the device moves back and forth across the area at 1000 Hz, 5 minutes per 15 cm², twice daily for 15 days, then a two-week rest, repeating until the area is clear. Stretch marks are paired with Universal 3 (Blood) and cellulite with the Complete Cleanse, because cellulite is a lymphatic, hormonal and metabolic condition rather than a purely local one – weak lymphatic drainage, sugar sensitivity, hormonal imbalance, high body fat and an inactive lifestyle are the five main causes. Post-pregnancy abdominal laxity is separate again: Tummy Tighten runs 25 minutes daily for 30 days, combined with transverse abdominal exercise.

Question:

What does coMra do for acne and problem skin?
Answer:

coMra addresses acne from both sides, because skin conditions reflect an internal imbalance: the local protocol treats the surface, and the Universal protocols treat what produced it. Dermatology 4 pairs a systemic part – Universal 5 (Somatic Biostimulation 2) twice daily for the stress and adrenal axis, plus Universal 3 (Blood) every second day, ten treatments on alternate days – with a local part each evening: scanning the affected area at 1000 Hz, 5 minutes per 10 cm², daily until it clears. Afterwards, keep the systemic part running at least four times a year as prevention. The root causes of acne are hormonal and in the microbiome, which is why topical-only approaches keep needing to be repeated.

Question:

How is coMra different from a cosmetic laser or IPL treatment?
Answer:

coMra is non-thermal and non-ablative. Its low-level laser produces no heating in the skin – this is why it is called a cold laser – so a session is painless, produces no heat or burn sensation, and leaves no peeling, downtime or recovery period. Where resurfacing and light-based cosmetic devices work by dosing the skin with controlled thermal injury and letting it repair the damage, coMra adds energy, transport and a rejuvenation signal to the tissue that is already there. That also changes the shape of a course: gentle daily sessions you run yourself, rather than a small number of aggressive appointments.

Question:

Does coMra help with scars and skin recovery after a procedure?
Answer:

Yes, and the guides treat it as ordinary wound work. Surgery 2 in the main coMra user guide covers surgical cuts, traumatic wounds and scars: scan the surface plus 3 cm of the surrounding edges, 2 minutes per 10 cm², three times daily – 1000 Hz on days 1–4, then 50 Hz on days 5–8 – with Universal 3 (Blood) once a day; for scars specifically, the Variable frequency is used for the scan throughout, until improvement is evident. The aim is to supply the energy the tissue needs for its own remodelling phase, where temporary tissue is replaced with thicker Type I collagen – which is why established scars can still change rather than only fresh wounds.

Question:

How many coMra sessions before I see a visible change in my skin?
Answer:

Skin protocols are courses, not single sessions. The surface protocols – stretch marks, cellulite – run twice daily for 15 days, then a two-week rest, repeated until the area clears; the acne course is ten alternate-day systemic treatments plus a local scan every evening until the skin is clear; face and neck work is daily and ongoing. What changes first is comfort and colour – less itch, less redness – with texture and firmness following over weeks and structural change over months. Documented individual courses give a sense of the range: a two-week course cleared one user's complexion, and a two-year-old scar began to whiten and contract within two weeks of daily scanning.

Question:

Can coMra therapy soften wrinkles and fine lines?
Answer:

Yes – the Face & Neck protocol in the coMra Beauty & Wellness guide is written for exactly this: ageing skin, blemished skin, redness and veinlets. It runs about 20 minutes once daily – forehead scanned 2 minutes at 1000 Hz, each half of the face (nose and lips included) 5 minutes, each side of the neck 2 minutes, then the forehead again for 2 minutes at 50 Hz – moving the device slowly along the main lines of the face and over the wrinkles themselves. Treat it as maintenance rather than a one-off correction: daily use is what keeps skin smooth and blemish-free. Expect the usual coMra sequence – comfort and colour shift first, texture over weeks, structural change in the dermis over weeks to months.

Question:

How does coMra rejuvenate the skin?
Answer:

coMra works inside the skin rather than on its surface. The infrared laser and the magnetic field together open an additional ATP synthesis channel in the cells, the ultrasound in the Pro devices (40 kHz) speeds molecular transport so enzymes meet their substrates faster, and the colour LEDs deliver the rejuvenation sequence – red, then yellow-green, then indigo-violet – the order used specifically for enhancing existing healthy tissue in cosmetology. On the coMra Pro, this is what the Vitality function is for: it switches to the rejuvenation sequence with a stronger ultrasound. With more energy and better transport available, the skin's own fibroblasts can get on with collagen secretion and capillary growth, which is what visible firmness and even tone actually rest on. Nothing is deposited and nothing is removed: coMra restores the conditions, the skin does the rejuvenating.

Question:

Is coMra therapy effective for joint pain?
Answer:

Yes. coMra supplies damaged joint tissue with the energy it needs to repair itself, improves the transport of molecules and the work of enzymes in the tissue, and supports the repair of damaged cartilage. The result is less pain and inflammation and better joint function.

Joint degeneration such as osteoarthritis was long seen as irreversible, but research shows that joint tissue can repair with the right stimulation. coMra is non-invasive and safe for long-term use at home, and it works best combined with regular exercise and other supportive measures.

Question:

Is coMra therapy beneficial for skin conditions?
Answer:

Yes. The coMra user guides include protocols for acne, scars, wounds and burns, stretch marks, ageing skin and redness, and the surface setting (1000 Hz) is the one used for skin. Because skin conditions often reflect an internal imbalance, local treatment is usually combined with a Universal protocol such as Universal 3 (Blood). Wounds and burns respond quickly; chronic skin conditions improve over a longer course, with comfort and colour changing first and texture following over weeks.

Question:

Can coMra therapy help with stress and anxiety?
Answer:

Yes. coMra helps the body move out of a state of stress into one of calm activation, in which rest, digestion and repair run well. It does this by supporting the cells' energy and the body's own regulation of the nervous, immune and hormonal systems. The colour sequence plays a part too: indigo and blue light help activate the calming side of the nervous system.

People typically notice better sleep, improved digestion and a lift in mood. coMra can be used both in acute stress and for long-term stress management; it is drug-free, safe for regular use at home and works well alongside other ways of managing stress.

Question:

Is coMra therapy safe for all ages?
Answer:

Yes. coMra uses low-intensity radiances with no risk of overdose, so it is safe from infancy to old age, and during pregnancy. Children can receive any adult treatment; for infants under three, treatment times are halved, because young children respond faster than adults. An adult always applies the treatment to a child.

There is no upper age limit, and coMra is especially helpful for older people with age-related conditions – which makes one device suitable for the whole family.

Question:

Can coMra therapy be used alongside other treatments?
Answer:

Yes. coMra combines safely with medication, surgery and other therapies: it has no chemical action of its own, so there is nothing to interact with a drug, and nothing needs to be stopped or paused. It is used both before and after surgical and pharmacological treatment, and practitioners of many disciplines – acupuncture, osteopathy, physiotherapy and others – use it alongside their own methods. As healing progresses, the need for symptom-relieving medication often falls naturally; any change in dose follows the improvement rather than preceding it.

Question:

How often should I use coMra therapy?
Answer:

It depends on what you are treating. For a specific condition, the coMra user guide sets the schedule – most protocols run once or twice daily for two to three weeks, followed by a rest. Acute problems may need more frequent sessions at first, while chronic conditions need repeated courses over a longer time.

For prevention and general wellbeing, three to five courses a year are recommended – especially to prevent a chronic condition from returning, or ahead of physical or emotional stress or a medical procedure. For children under three, treatment times are halved.

Question:

How long does a typical coMra therapy session last?
Answer:

A typical session lasts 20–40 minutes. The exact time is set by the protocol: a small acute area can take as little as 5 minutes, while treating several areas in one session takes longer. Each protocol in the coMra user guide states the time for every treatment point.

Question:

Is coMra therapy effective for chronic conditions?
Answer:

Yes. In chronic conditions coMra raises the functional reserve of cells and organs – the energy and capacity that long-term repair depends on – and it is safe for long-term use alongside other treatments. Healing in a serious chronic condition takes time: improvement comes over months, sometimes years, at the body's own pace.

Even where full recovery is not possible, coMra can ease symptoms and improve quality of life. Once a condition is in remission, three to five preventive courses a year help prevent relapses. Results depend on the severity of the condition, and coMra works best as part of a broader approach to health.

Question:

Can coMra therapy be used for pain relief?
Answer:

Yes. Pain is the body's signal that injured cells are short of energy; coMra raises their energy production, so it resolves the reason for the signal rather than blocking it. Relief can come within minutes of a session, and the treatment is drug-free, non-invasive and safe for long-term use.

coMra helps with pain after surgery and injury, from burns and cuts, muscle spasms and physical exhaustion, and in chronic conditions such as migraine, fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis. Chronic pain usually needs repeated treatment over weeks or months, as the underlying tissue repairs.

Question:

Are there any side effects of coMra therapy?
Answer:

No – coMra therapy has no significant side effects. Each of its radiances works at a very low intensity, and because they amplify each other, the intensities can be lower still than in therapies that use one radiance alone. Treatment is non-invasive, with no risk of overdose even with extended use, and it is safe during pregnancy, for babies and for older people.

coMra supports the body's own healing rather than forcing a change, which is the main reason for its safety. The usual precautions from the user guide still apply: never let the laser shine into open eyes, and keep the device at least 30 cm from a pacemaker.

Question:

What are the benefits of using coMra therapy?
Answer:

coMra supports the body's own regeneration: cells gain energy, molecules move more efficiently and cell communication improves, which raises the functional reserve of cells and organs. In practice this means pain relief in acute and chronic conditions, better sleep, digestion and mood, support for the immune system, and faster recovery after injury or surgery.

It is also practical. Treatment is non-invasive and low-intensity, with no risk of overdose, so one device can serve the whole family – during pregnancy, for children and in older age – and it works alongside other treatments. Used regularly, coMra helps maintain health, can reduce reliance on medication and, in serious illness, can improve quality of life.

Question:

How does coMra therapy work?
Answer:

coMra makes the cell's own processes more efficient rather than forcing them in any direction. The infrared laser and the magnetic field help cells produce more energy, raising the efficiency of ATP synthesis – the cell's energy supply – by 200–300%. The ultrasound in the coMra Pro speeds the transport of molecules through the tissue, and a sequence of coloured LEDs gives the cells a regenerative signal.

What ties these together is coherence: the radiances help the cell's processes work in step with each other, so the effort the cell already makes produces more result. With more energy and better coordination, the body repairs itself – which shows as pain relief, better sleep and digestion, improved mood, stronger immunity and faster tissue repair.

Question:

What is coMra therapy?
Answer:

coMra therapy – coherent multi-radiance therapy – is a non-invasive technology that supports the body's own ability to heal. It combines low-intensity radiances that work together in the tissue under the device: an infrared laser, a magnetic field and coloured LED light, joined by ultrasound in the coMra Pro. Together they help cells produce more energy, move molecules more efficiently and communicate better, which raises the functional reserve the body draws on to repair itself.

Introduced in 2009 by Radiant Life Technologies, coMra is used at home as well as in clinics, for acute and chronic conditions alike. It does not replace the body's healing; it gives the body the conditions to heal.

Question:

I have heard that the EMF radiation – electrosmog, and microwave radiation from cell-phones are harmful to our health. I have seen devices, like covers, that claim to block these radiations. How is your ELI Guardian Badge protecting me from those radiations?
Answer:

coMra Wave technology does not work on the principle of blocking the radiation, as your cell phone would no-longer work correctly. It uses some of the radiation as a power source to generate an electromagnetic signature that is beneficial in the re-balancing of water. This also benefits the water in your body when our products are in close proximity to you.

Question:

Does your product change the pH of water?
Answer:

There is no change in pH observed through scientific testing. The change in the structure of the water pertains to the bulk water cluster sizes and dynamics, not the chemical composition or the content of the water.

Question:

Has your product been tested?
Answer:

Yes, it has been tested with a range of different scientific approaches. Nuclear Magnetic resonance (NMR), microwave spectrum and power analysis, and dissolved oxygen tests. The results from all these tests show that coMra Wave technology re-balances the quality of the water closer to that of natural water. Our research is continually on-going and we also publish and share our research results on our website. Have a look at our research pages for more information.

Question:

What is the radiation reduction from your products?
Answer:

It very much depends on the make and model of your cell phone. We have tested on average a 25% reduction. For some phones we have measured up to a 50% reduction. See our Radiation Protection research page for more information.

Question:

How many glasses of energised water should I drink per day?
Answer:

Each person is different, so it is up to you. We drink at least four glasses of energised water per day. There are no known dis-advantages to drinking more energised water.

Question:

Are your products suitable for pregnant women?
Answer:

Yes, they are suitable for pregnant women. Pregnant women are frequently purchasing these products for radiation protection for themselves and their unborn baby.

Question:

If I use your product on my phone, will my phone still work?
Answer:

Yes. coMra Wave technology does not interfere with the correct operation of your phone or other wireless products. Our product uses a different approach which does not block the wireless radiation, but instead uses a little of it to generate a signature that can be used to assist in the transformation of the structure of the water, and the water in your body.

Question:

Can I use the coMra Wave Coaster to energise other liquids like tea, coffee, wine, and other beverages?
Answer:

Yes, by all means! It has been tested, and you will find the usual product benefits and additionally a qualitative enhancement of the taste of the particular liquid you are energising.

Question:

I have a filter system under my sink, can I attach the coMra Wave Cell on the filter?
Answer:

Yes, you can. As long as it is a plastic filter and not metal.

Question:

Can I attach the coMra Wave Cell inside of my household water tank?
Answer:

No, the Cell is not suitable for immersion in water vessels, because the adhesive back surface is not water compatible. For immersion in your water tank you could use the coMra Wave Pendant, or use the coMra Wave Cell on the outside of the tank. However, the tank must be plastic and not metal.

Question:

Why should I use the coMra Wave Cell on my phone?
Answer:

In order to protect yourself from the potentially harmful radiation that is coming from your cell phone.

Question:

What is the lifetime of your product?
Answer:

The coMra Wave product range does not use a battery or any movable parts. It is sealed in a food-grade package so air and water cannot enter. The lifetime of the product just depends on normal wear and tear.

Question:

What kind of people are buying your products?
Answer:

People from all walks of life and ages. A lot of women are purchasing our product. It seems that women are quicker in sensing the value, quality, and benefit of our product, and are more environmentally safety conscious!

Question:

What is the minimum time of exposure in order for your product to energise water?
Answer:

Five minutes is enough to start experiencing the effects of the vitalisation and freshening of drinking water. There is no maximum time either. For example, you can leave your cup of water on the coMra Wave Coaster throughout the night and in the morning you can enjoy fresh water.

Question:

How long does the water that has been energised with coMra Wave technology retains its freshness?
Answer:

The water can retain the signature of the coMra Wave technology for at least 24 hours. Tests are currently being done over more than 30 days where it is possible to retain the electromagnetic high frequency signature. Over time it of course dissipates.

Question:

Does your product really work without a battery?
Answer:

Yes it does. Instead of using a battery our technology receives power from the microwave background radiation. This power is utilised in generating a high frequency signature that is beneficial for the natural refreshing of drinking water and the water in your body.

Question:

Does your product need maintenance?
Answer:

No, the coMra Wave product range does not need maintenance. It works without battery and no replaceable parts are needed. All you need do is look after your product as you would any other personal product, and it will serve you for life.

Question:

Are your products food safe?
Answer:

Yes, all the encapsulating materials and processes used in the manufacture of our products are food-safe. Every material we use is tested and certified as to its chemical content and structure.

Question:

What is the technological difference between the Cell and the Pendant?
Answer:

The coMra Wave Pendant has a 7- layer device. The first 6 layers are the high frequency technologies, and the 7th layer is a quartz crystal substrate layer for a more focused delivery of the vortex signature.

Question:

According to your dissolved oxygen tests there is a re-balancing of the water oxygen content. Can I use your product in my aquarium?
Answer:

We would have thought that the fish in your aquarium will also benefit from energised water in the same way that humans do.
