Knee Joint Degeneration, 2

The patient - 70 y.o. female - had arthritis to both knees (gonartrosis bilateralis) previously treated by physiotherapy with no effect.

At the start (November 7, 2011) she reported pain and stiffness in her knee joints. She could not squat or climb stairs. She had pain at night.

Dr Zlatev recorded oedemous knees; limited and painful active and passive movements of the knee joints.

A course of 15 (5 weekly over 3 weeks) Traumatology 10 treatments was done. coMra Pro 980 Medical was used.

Dr Zlatev also recommended the patient she applied Aloe Vera cream to her knees.

At the end (November 25, 2011) patient reported no pain, which has disappeared after the fourth treatment.

There was neither oedema nor limitations to the movements of the knees.

Dr Zlatev recorded decreases in the perimeters of both knees: from 42 cm to 39 cm for the right knee and from 40 cm to 39 cm for the left.

The patient postponed the due follow-up coMra course, since she had no pain.
