Detailed Summary of coMra Wellness Test Webinar

Introduction to the coMra Wellness Test

The webinar introduces the coMra Wellness Test, a tool designed to help individuals take charge of their health in a new and comprehensive way. This test is presented as a method for users to assess their body’s state of wellness, which is directly related to their state of being.

Scientific Background

The test is based on the scientific research of Professor Garkavi and her team in Russia. Their work expanded on Hans Selye’s stress research, discovering that the body has multiple ways of adapting to various stressors, not just the single stress response Selye identified.

Key points about the research:

  • Conducted over 40 years
  • Involved thousands of experiments on animals and humans
  • Discovered direct links between physiology and psychology
  • Mapped out different states of adaptation beyond just stress
  • Received the highest science award in Russia

The Body’s Adaptation States

The research identified several states of adaptation:

  1. Stress
  2. Getting by
  3. Balanced activity (ideal state)
  4. Focused activity
  5. Overactivity

Each state corresponds to different physiological and psychological characteristics.

Importance of Adaptation Capacity

The test measures the body’s capacity to adapt, which equates to the ability to heal and overall quality of life. The capacity to adapt can be high, medium, or low, affecting how well an individual can handle stressors.

Key Concepts

  1. Energy and Intelligence: The capacity to adapt depends on these two factors.
  2. Resistance vs. Adaptation: The test helps identify resistance to life processes versus healthy adaptation.
  3. Coherence: In balanced states, body systems work coherently.
  4. Holistic Approach: Unlike specific organ tests, this test provides a holistic view of wellness.

Taking the Test

  • The test consists of sliders for various qualities (e.g., activity, optimism, anxiety).
  • Users should go with their gut feeling when answering.
  • Results provide insights into the current state and capacity to adapt.
  • The test can be taken multiple times to track progress over time.

Interpreting Results

  • Results show the current adaptation state and capacity to adapt.
  • Provides encouragement and suggestions for improvement.
  • Some results may require manual interpretation if they don’t fit neatly into a category.

Practical Applications

  • Identifying personal key indicators (e.g., anxiety, irritability, sleep quality)
  • Using the test to make lifestyle adjustments
  • Complementing other medical tests for a more comprehensive health view

Benefits of the coMra Wellness Test

  • Empowers individuals to take charge of their health
  • Provides a tool for self-assessment and tracking progress
  • Helps create a healing environment in the body
  • Supports overall quality of life improvement

Conclusion

The coMra Wellness Test is presented as a valuable tool for self-assessment and health improvement. It’s emphasized that the test should be used as a supportive tool rather than a definitive measure, encouraging users to trust the process and use the insights gained to make positive changes in their lives.

Beginning of the Webinar Transcript

Garth: Okay, well, I trust everyone is doing well today. We’re almost at the top of the hour. We’re in Vancouver here today, and this is shining. Partly weather is pretty warm. And we’re just about past all the frosts, which means planting season is upon us, so this is really good news for us. Yeah, we’ve got a couple of things that are we have to cover at night, but the planting is going good. The garden going some nice food.

Well, all of our webinars are special, but a very special webinar to present to you today. This is all about… I’m going to bring up the title page in a minute, but it’s all about another way for you to take charge of your own health. So now let me share the screen with you. Okay, here we go. We got it up there now. The coMra wellness test, so this is what we want to present to you today and we feel this is a very special webinar. Like I said, as they all are, because this is a way for you to start to dial in in a new way, or in a more comprehensive way for you, perhaps to your body state of wellness. And this is directly related to your state of being.

So, stick around everyone’s going to have an opportunity to do this test today and have an opportunity to make that knowledge work for you now. You can take the test just for recreation and for some fun and that’s fine. Or there’s a more purposeful way this can be undertaken. So it’s going to be up to you.

Some of the things we’re going to be looking at today are some graphs at the end, and you start to look at different aspects of your, let’s say, what you’re doing in your life and how you feel about things. You know, you see activity, optimism, appetite, sleep, efficiency, stamina, anxiety, irritability, fatigue and depression. So these are some of the things these tests look at.
