In this case presentation, Dr. Michail Tsvetanov discusses a patient suffering from psoriatic rheumatoid arthritis. Unlike osteoarthritis, this condition involves an autoimmune component where the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own cells.
The patient, a female who had lived with psoriasis for over 15 years, saw her condition progress to rheumatoid arthritis approximately two years ago. When she first consulted Dr. Michail Tsvetanov, she was in significant distress. Having previously attempted a trial drug that left her barely functional, she was relying on methotrexate to cope with the pain. At the start of her treatment, her pain levels were at a nine out of ten, and she presented with psoriasis patches on her scalp. Her mobility was severely compromised, making even the act of walking extremely difficult.
Dr. Michail Tsvetanov utilized a multi-modal approach, incorporating homeopathic constitutional remedies based on symptomatology, microcurrent therapy, and coMra therapy.
The coMra treatment protocol was administered twice per week. The affected areas – including the elbows, knees, and ankles – were treated using the coMra Delta at 50 Hz for five minutes and 5 Hz for three minutes. Additionally, the patient followed the Universal 7 protocol. This is a more comprehensive approach than Universal 5, as it includes non-invasive blood irradiation as well as treatments specifically targeting the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis.
The results of the treatment were significant. After eight sessions – approximately one month of care – the patient’s pain levels dropped from a nine to a three or four out of ten. She regained the ability to walk without difficulty over shorter distances.
Following eight additional treatments, her pain levels further decreased to an average of two to three, with periods of being entirely pain-free, leaving only minor swelling. Her quality of life improved dramatically; she even reported being able to dance with her children. Following these two courses of treatment, the patient and her family decided to acquire their own coMra Delta device so they could continue to support their health independently.
