Patient Case Study: 78-year-old Male with Spinal Degenerative Disease

Initial Diagnosis

The patient, a 78-year-old male, presented with:

  • Multisegmental degenerative spinal disease (chronic recurrent condition in subremission)
  • Lumbar ischialgia

Medical History

  • Childhood polio
  • Severe heart attacks
  • Vascular stenting

Symptoms on Presentation

The patient complained of:

  • Constant aching in the lumbosacral region and lower extremities
  • Inability to walk for extended periods due to pain and weakness
  • Frequently disturbed sleep

Treatment and Progress

  1. The patient underwent a coMra therapy course consisting of ten treatments.
  2. Significant improvement was noted:
  • Pain in the lumbosacral region subsided
  • Pain in the legs decreased
  1. Additional psychotherapy was administered.
  2. Further improvements were observed:
  • Increased walking duration during the day
  • Enhanced energy and vigor throughout the body
  • Resolution of constipation
  • Normalized sleep patterns
