When operating your coMra Pro, it is essential to adhere to the established safety precautions to ensure a safe and effective experience. These guidelines have been a cornerstone of Radiant Life Technologies’ user manuals since 2009. While we have maintained an excellent safety record, it is always best to err on the side of caution.
The most critical safety measure concerns the laser light emitted from the center of the terminal. Under no circumstances should the laser light come into contact with open eyes. Because the infrared laser light is invisible to the human eye, it is important to exercise vigilance. Prolonged exposure to the open eye could cause permanent blindness, and even brief exposure may result in damage.
Please note that this precaution applies specifically to the laser light in the center of the terminal, not the LED lights around the perimeter, which are safe for the eyes. If a treatment protocol requires working directly on or near the eyes, the eyelids must be kept closed. When the eyes are closed, the treatment is safe and will not cause damage. A dedicated section in the user guide provides further instructions on how to safely navigate laser application near the eyes.
For treatments involving the head or the heart area, it is mandatory to rest for five minutes following the session. Furthermore, when treating the heart area, you must never use a frequency other than 5 Hz.
Some protocols in the user guide are complex, combining several standalone protocols into a single course of treatment. If a complex protocol calls for the heart area to be treated multiple times within one session – for example, if both a lung protocol and a liver protocol indicate heart treatment – you only need to treat the heart once.
To prevent interference with medical devices and sensitive electronics, please observe the following distance requirements:
* Cardio Stimulators: Do not place the terminal within 30 cm (approximately 1 foot) of patients with cardio stimulators. * Neurostimulators: Do not place the terminal within 30 cm of patients with neurostimulators. * Electronic Equipment: Do not place the terminal within 30 cm of sensitive electronic equipment, such as laptops or hard drives. The magnetic field generated by the terminal may potentially damage these items.
In the following section, we will examine the layout and components of your coMra Pro in greater detail.
