Case Study: Acute Wrist Laceration Recovery

This case study documents the recovery of a 28-year-old male who sustained a deep wrist laceration from a sharp object. The wound measured approximately 1.5 centimeters in length and reached a depth of about 7 millimeters.

Initial Treatment and Protocol

Once the bleeding was sufficiently controlled, coMra therapy was initiated immediately. The coMra Delta, equipped with the 905 nm medical terminal, was utilized as the primary device for these treatments. The initial session lasted 14 minutes, employing frequencies of 10 Hz, 50 Hz, and 5 Hz.

Following the initial session, the patient performed self-treatment for the next two weeks, applying the therapy two to three times daily for up to 10 minutes per session. To support the overall healing process, Universal 4 and Universal 5 protocols from the coMra User Guide were applied five times per week.

Supportive Measures

While the patient was initially prescribed antibiotics, he experienced digestive complications and consequently discontinued the medication after completing only half of the prescribed course. To compensate, homeopathic remedies were introduced to support the immune system and provide an antiseptic effect, as detailed in the accompanying clinical documentation.

Healing Progress

The healing trajectory over the first 15 days was remarkably rapid. Photographic evidence captured on day 2, day 3, day 9, and day 15 demonstrates the significant regenerative progress achieved through consistent coMra therapy.

Current Status

At the time of this report, the patient continues to use the 905 nm medical terminal up to twice daily at frequencies of 10 Hz and 50 Hz. This is now combined with the aesthetic terminal, which is utilized for approximately one-third of the total treatment duration to further support skin integrity and tissue recovery.
