Summary: The text discusses the influence of magnetic fields on living cells, particularly focusing on the role of magnesium isotopes in ATP synthesis. It highlights a discovery that magnesium-25, which has a magnetic field, significantly increases the efficiency of ATP synthesis compared to other magnesium isotopes. The conversation also touches on the body's intelligence in storing magnesium-25 in the heart for energy regulation.
is orienting itself north-south in the same direction. Next step. So before we look at these artificial materials like fridge magnet, but can weak magnetic field influence living cells? This is a key question here. We really need to think about because if you think about living breathing human being, it's fairly high temperature. Our body, I mean, it's soft, it's pliable. You don't think about the body about this tissue around the hand, for example, as something as hard and rigid as a 3G magnet. or you can buy in a store, these neodymium magnets. So these metals can maintain order because it's a metal. The old structure is very hard and rigid. But what about the living cells? Can we actually build order within the living cells? Indeed, we can. And this is such an important discovery. So will describe it very briefly to you. You all know that inside each cell, there is a process, I would actually describe it, it's called ATP synthesis. Or to put it simply, this is the conversion of oxygen and sugars into form of energy, in this case, it's ATP molecule that can be used by our body. Now this process was never considered to be of any key importance because nothing can change it apart from some supplements and so on. So if you know about supplements, you would know that the magnesium, it's a metal. So supplements with magnesium are really important for good energy metabolism. Why? Because magnesium is like really key element in this ATP synthesis. But what he -- the scientist discovered is that if you look at the magnesium, there are different isotopes of magnesium. There is magnesium 24 and 26. These two isotopes, or like versions of chemical element, do not have magnetic field. And magnesium 25, there is a magnetic field. So each atom of magnesium 25 has a small magnetic field around it. And when he separated them individually and measured he found out that look at this, the efficiency of ATP synthesis is twice more in presence of the magnetic field. So he made this discovery actually in 2009 and since 2009, he has been published more and more and more papers showing this look, if we apply external magnetic field or in this case the magnesium 25, we can suddenly get much more energy given the same amount of input material. Think about it this way. If your car can go, let's say, on 1 liter of gasoline for 100 kilometers, you apply magnetic field and now you can go 200 kilometers. So nothing has changed. But we know what field does, right? Magnetic field creates coherence. As a result of this coherence, energy efficiency pretty much doubles. This is such an important discovery and really one of the key experimental evidence why magnetotherapy, why the therapy with magnetic fields works this is because we can increase the efficiency of energy metabolism in living cells by a factor of 2 pretty much. Arzhan, can you go back to the previous slide for one second, please? Sure. I just want to mention too, when it comes to the intelligence of the body, if I recall correctly, if you take supplements, any of that magnesium 25, your body's intelligence will actually take that magnesium and store it in a hearth. So I mean, imagine the intelligence that knows it has to -- it takes that particular type of magnesium and it holds it for situations where there's a drop in energy metabolism and it needs a shot, I'm saying shot in terms of an immediate buffering, we'll say, so that it can maintain function and it actually will store that in the heart because the heart is that primary organ. Just to link that back to the intelligence with the coherence in that, Arzhan. Thank you. It's very interesting. He measured concentration of magnesium in and different organs, it turns out the heart has the highest concentration. Interesting. You would not know. No. The magnesium in nature is always a mixture of the three isotopes. And magnesium 25 is on average 10%. And the other 90% is the mixture of 24 and 26. And if you think about the things in nature that everybody wants like salt, sugars and fats, those are the hardest to get. So the body and its intelligence that magnesium 25 is the hardest to get. So it puts it where it most needs it most and holds on to it there as needed.
