Summary: The text discusses the concept of cellular regeneration in the body, highlighting the varying turnover rates of different tissues, from the fast regeneration of the small intestine to the slower regeneration of the central nervous system. It emphasizes that this regeneration process is continuous and governed by the body's own intelligence. The text also mentions that even bones regenerate, albeit at a slower rate of 10% per year.
So here, I will put just some example of the turnover time. So let's say, small intestine, epithelial, it's turnover time, meaning the speed of how fast it regenerates itself is 2 to 4 days. So this is a very fast turnover. Stomach also quite fast, 2 to 9 days and so on. Much slower cells in, you will see, for example, in liver, in in the heart. Interestingly, you will see here central nervous system as the lifetime, but now the latest research actually shows that even the central nervous system can regenerate itself, though much slower. So even the bones regenerate themselves 10% a year. So it may seem obvious, but we need keep this in mind that this process of regeneration happens at all times in our body. And it governed by the body's own intelligence. This is a key aspect here. We'll come back to this body's intelligence again and again.
