1. *Summary: The text introduces the fundamental principles of life as the basis for understanding coMra therapy, contrasting it with a mechanistic approach that focuses on controlling and manipulating parts. It emphasizes that coMra therapy seeks to uplift and support life, rather than control it, and that this approach reveals purpose in the body and the healing process. The speakers, Arzhan Surazakov and Garrett Murrin, are presenting this material.*
Okay. So we begin this course with what we call fundamental principles of life. These fundamental principles form really the bigger and larger context for coMra therapy. And we feel it's really important to start from these principles and to use these principles as a launching point because it is possible to use a more traditional approach. So for example, we can start with an outline how light, magnetic field and ultrasound support the natural functioning of cells. Then we will talk about how this support is expressed in therapeutic effects. And then we can discuss clinical data on different diseases where coMra therapy shows benefit. So this approach has its own value. And this more of a classical or more of the mainstream approach to any medical technology is very typical. I mean, this is what you will see in funded national research. So if you were doing any scientific studies, for example, this is what you will see a very, I would say, a mechanistic approach to explain how, for example, in this case, medical technology works. But with coMra therapy, such a approach, although will be valid, and again, we can use it, but it will be incomplete. And it will be so incomplete that we're actually risking to miss the essence of coMra therapy, what it makes so interesting and really a whole new approach to healing. Because a mechanistic approach, just think about how we can use different approaches. So a mechanistic approach would seek to explain life in terms of the mechanisms. So what it means is that we will try to reduce some phenomena, some whole into the parts. And so we will look at different properties and functions and The central idea here is to get a grasp or some sort of understanding how we can control and manipulate these different parts. So for example, just use an example, if you will be studying, let's say, surgery or maybe how drugs work, chemical -- pharmaceutical drugs, that's what you'll be trying to understand, how each drug, for example, modifies certain specific chemical process and then with this modification, for example, you will be seeking to, let's say, reduce pain and maybe reduce inflammation. So this is a mechanistic approach to understanding medical technologies. But with coMra therapy, we will start from the principles point of view. And this approach reveals purpose and in the body in the healing process. And with this approach, we're seeking to uplift and support life rather than control and manipulate. So I know this is somewhat abstract at this point of view and maybe a bit strange to talk about this when I talk about coMra therapy. But remember, we're talking about art and science of coMra therapy. So Maybe if I use an example, you will see what I mean by this.
