4.1.7. Treatment Targets

So when you open user guide and you look at the treatment points, you will see the diagrams with the body and all kinds of points in the body. So what are we trying to treat? And why we're placing Delta or not is different points in the body. First of all, we treating organs and tissue that are directly affected by disease or trauma. And later on in the next module, we'll go into more details. So first of all, this is the directly affected organs and tissues. And secondly, we're also treating supporting organs and these nerves, blood and lymph vessels, immune system, skin, muscles and so on. So whatever is supporting the function of that particular organ, we treat it as well. Now people would ask, are these points acupuncture, do they have relevance to the acupuncture meridian and so on? The points in user guide are not acupuncture points. These are directly -- they have like anatomical justification, in other words, directly, let's say, blood vessel or heart, kidney and so on. At the same time, if you have this specialized knowledge and you are a punctist and you would like to treat acupuncture points, yes, you can. So this is the set of treatment points, what we call local treatments. And then there is also different section in the beginning of the user guide, what we call universal treatments, where we are approaching treatment systemically.
