Introduction
L. Garkavi is remarkable Russian (or Soviet) healer and scientist. She and her team have charted several modes of response of the physical body to stimulation.
The article [1] is a very good overview of Dr Garkavi's life and work. Different perspectives of it are covered in the blog articles [2,3]. Finally, Garkavi's classification comprises good part of the advanced coMra Course.
Method
I have been using the questionnaires that Garkavi and her team have developed in order to assess the state of the organism without blood tests. A prerequisite for these kind of assessment is that I have to be as honest and unbiased in answering as I can and I should answer without much rationalising.
The scale then is complex and sometimes it is not easy to tell if given state is an improvement compared to another state, but with some experience and looking at the trend, I can tell if I have an improvement in my overall state or not.
What for
At one point, see [2], I attempted to perform Garkavi's Activation Therapy, but without much success.
Currently I am using the charts for two things. First, to have an objective assessment of my state. For example, I may think I am doing good when in effect my adrenal glands are overcompensating for the hypothiroidism which - if prolonged - could lead to a relapse. This thing has happened to me. In this respect Garkavi charts are a good warning sign. Second, I need to know when my overall state has improved, so it is time for me to do a couple of weeks pause in my coMra treatments. To this effect I am again using the Garkavi charts.
